GREINPLAST I2S

Hydro-insulation, two-component mortar, standard

Used to secure and seal locations exposed to long-time, adverse action of water, such as terraces, balconies and basements. The mortar may be used as a means to secure bases against the penetration of moisture and water, in locations such as shower rooms, bathrooms, sanitary rooms, laundries and kitchens, or be laid under ceramic and natural stone claddings, as well as on surfaces made of cement cement-lime and gypsum plasters, drywalls, cellular concrete, full-joint walls, wood-derivative panels, cement and anhydrite screeds.

Packaged in 20 & 10 kg containers.

First, using sealing tape and corner beads, make joints between neighbouring surfaces. Sealing tape or seals should be immersed in sealing mass, remembering to thoroughly cover the edges. Next, using a painting brush, apply an even mass layer on working surfaces, intensively rubbing the material into the base. The mortar should be applied at least in two layers (the second and subsequent layers should be applied with a metal trowel), so that the thickness of the finished insulation would be not less than 2-3 mm.

Recommendations and remarks

The temperature of the base and its surroundings during the application and drying should be between +5°C and +25°C. The optimal application temperature is +20°C. The specified processing times may vary under the influence of adverse thermal and moisture conditions. Areas exposed to soiling should be secured. Any stains should be washed away with water before they dry up.
